Shearwater recently hosted its first Pups and Pints event, inviting the community and its dogs to come together in support of the Clay County Animal Care and Control during a day of fun and games. During the event, planned by Lifestyle Director Dylan Read, residents tasted craft beers from Veterans United Craft Brewery, enjoyed games and live music on the event lawn and were treated to a visit by several puppies and dogs from Clay County Animal Care up for adoption. Throughout the day, four dogs were adopted from the care and control center by Shearwater residents: Dixie, Banjo, Timber and Tucker.
