An estimated 3,500 visitors attended the recent grand opening celebration of Mattamy Homes RiverTown.
The event featured the unveiling of the community’s new entry and welcome center as well as six new decorated model homes. Visitors also had an opportunity to visit The RiverClub, the community’s amenity center featuring a 5,100 square-foot clubhouse and pool located on the St. Johns River.
“We were thrilled to welcome a record number of guests to our spectacular grand opening celebration at RiverTown, and look forward to welcoming many back as residents in the future,” said Jason Sessions, vice president for land acquisition and development. “The enthusiastic response we received from residents and guests made our grand opening a tremendously rewarding experience for the Mattamy team, who worked tirelessly to make this event such a success.”
To highlight the community’s riverfront location, the grand opening event featured guided kayak tours on the St. Johns River. Kids’ activities included face painting, a rock climbing wall, balloon artists, a bounce house and interactive golf. Entertainment included performances by The Band Be Easy, The Rivertown Band and Firewater Tent Revival, while refreshments were provided by a number of food trucks.
Currently, Mattamy’s RiverTown offerings include more than 30 home designs ranging from 1,700 to 3,500 square feet, with prices starting in the $240s.
