District 4 Commissioner Jeremiah Ray Blocker paid a visit to the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library as a special guest reader on June 27 for “Storytime.”
“While I was working for SJC Communications during my library’s closure, I took the opportunity to visit Commissioner Blocker and ask him to be our guest reader. We are so excited about Commissioner Blocker being our special guest,” said Anne S. Crawford, assistant branch manager and youth services librarian.
Commissioner Blocker read “There’s a Dragon in Your Book,” by Tom Fletcher to a room packed with preschool children and their caregivers. The interactive book gave attendees a chance to actively participate with the reading.
