Fantasy Farm Animal Preserve, located at 194 South Roscoe Blvd. in Ponte Vedra Beach, will be open to the public from 1 to 3 pm on Nov. 17 for an open house.
People are encouraged to come visit and see the unusual wildlife, indigenous plants and ancient trees found in this nonprofit animal sanctuary in the middle of town.
Visitors will be treated to a warm and sometimes loud reception from Amazon parrots, other tropical birds, lemurs, wallaby, alpacas, peacocks and more. A barn with antique cars is an added treat, plus a house filled with antique toys.
Kathy’s Creative Gardens and Nursery on North Roscoe will talk about the best plants for a butterfly garden. Park behind The Redeemer Church at 190 South Roscoe Blvd. and walk through to Fantasy Farm.
