The Girl Scouts of Gateway Council (GSGC) recently announced that TriciaRae Stancato has been promoted to chief development officer.

Stancato has served as senior director of fund development and corporate engagement since joining GSGC in August 2016. As chief development officer, she will offer strategic leadership to develop and implement GSGC’s fund development initiatives – including donor cultivation and stewardship.

“TriciaRae is a dynamic and innovative leader who is committed to making a difference in the lives of girls across Northeast Florida,” said Girl Scouts of Gateway Council CEO Mary Anne Jacobs. “I am confident that her ability to create and implement fund development strategies will prove to be invaluable as we build upon our success as the premier leadership experience for girls.”

Before joining GSGC, Stancato served as the marketing and development director for Vision is Priceless in Jacksonville, where she expanded her fund development marketing skills for nonprofit organizations. Previously, Stancato worked with Girl Scouts of Central New York as a design and development manager.

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Stancato holds a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising professionals, serving on the National Philanthropy Day Committee.
