On the same day of the Cultural Center’s home tour, a group of local real estate agents are hosting a series of open houses in Marsh Landing’s Harbour Island community.
“We decided collaboratively with several agents from different brokerage firms to open Harbour Island for an open house to the public, which I don’t think has been done before,” said Katie Hughes, realtor at the McAfee Hughes Group RE/MAX Specialists PV. “We were trying to coordinate it with the Ponte Vedra Cultural Center Home Tour on the same day, just because we know there are a lot of buyers coming out for that home tour.”
To be held Saturday, April 21 from noon to 3 p.m., the Harbour Island open houses will feature listings from Hughes, Elizabeth Hudgins and the Lisa Barton Team with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty and Clare Berry with Berry & Co. Real Estate. Tours will take place at the following addresses:

· 121 Annapolis Lane
· 24716 Harbour View Drive
· 104 Newport Lane
· 24586 Harbour View Drive
Harbour Island, explained Hughes, is a unique section of Marsh Landing that affords residents the ability to have quick and convenient access to the Intracoastal Waterway, even at low tide. Most homes, she said, have slips in the harbor that range between 40-60 feet. Most of the properties are larger lots with estate-sized homes, with several located along Cabbage Creek and other inlets, she added.
Hughes explained that agents will be posted at each house to speak with guests about the properties. The gate to the community will be open so people can drive in freely.
“It [the open houses] allows a unique opportunity to be able to access that area and drive through and see how unique it is,” said Hughes.
