National MS Society volunteers to offer free gift wrapping

Volunteers from the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society will be back at South Beach Regional shopping center in Jacksonville Beach this year to offer free gift wrapping in December.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 19-21, MS volunteers, including helpers from Ocean Palms Elementary School, will wrap any item brought to the shopping mall, including gifts ordered and purchased online. Donations made by shoppers will help provide programs and services for the nearly 20,000 people impacted by multiple sclerosis in the North Florida area. Sponsoring the community event for the fifth consecutive year will be Betsy's Hallmark and Five Below.

In addition to the gift wrapping, Five Below will donate 10 percent of all purchases daily to the MS Society throughout December. Customers must provide the promotional fundraising flyer at the point of purchase. Flyers will be available at the gift-wrapping table outside of the stores or by calling (904) 982-6510. The South Beach Regional shopping center is home to Home Depot and Stein Mart, among others.
