Nocatee hosts realtors for VIP tour of Spray Water Park

Local realtors had the opportunity to tour Nocatee Spray Water Park last Thursday, Feb. 28, before the attraction opens to the community.

In addition to a tour of the new amenity, guests at the VIP event enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music by Ted Jennings.

Opening Saturday, March 9, Nocatee Spray Water Park features more than 100,000 square feet encompassing a 42-foot water slide tower, five slides, a resort-style beach and interactive spray features. Nocatee residents and their guests will be able to interact with water features such as being sprayed while sliding, climbing and playing in a tropical island setting.

Nocatee Spray Park will have interactive features for kids and adults, centered around Whale Harbor, a four-story water slide tower that will be the tallest of its kind in Northeast Florida — with the top of the structure being higher than Rip Tide Slide in the Nocatee Splash Park. The Spray Park will also include Serenity Bay, a resort-style beach environment with beach volleyball; Scuttle Cove, a smaller spray park for younger children; Paradise Park playground; and Blue Water Bar & Grill, a restaurant serving both food and drinks.

The neighboring event field, which will be more than twice the size of the current event area, will be the new home for community events and concerts, including the monthly Nocatee Farmers Market, the Roscolusa country music festival, drive-in movie nights, concerts and more. Blue Water Bar & Grill will also be accessible from the new event field.

The general public is invited to tour Nocatee Spray Water Park on Saturday from 12:15 to 1:20 p.m. The Spray Park will be open to Nocatee residents for the rest of the afternoon, and the Splash Water Park will be open to Nocatee residents and their guests.
