Registration is now open for the second annual MixedRITA Tennis Tournament at the Sawgrass Country Club, which is set to take place June 2-3. Spots are quickly filling up.
“We are so excited to be planning this fun-filled tennis weekend again this year”, Gary Herzfeld, co-founder of The MixedRITA said. “We received phenomenal feedback from last year’s tournament and have increased the number of mixed teams to 64. Everyone enjoyed themselves and couldn’t wait to play again this year”
All proceeds from the tournament will go toward breast cancer and prostate cancer research. Last year’s tournament raised $20,000 with half going to The Mayo Clinic and the other half going to Baptist Beaches Endowment Fund and Bro to Bro Support Group.
The commitee has received support within the community and has obtained a title sponsor from Tom Bush Family of Dealerships, an ACE Plus sponsor from Rockaway Garden Center and an ACE Sponsor from Ullman Brown Wealth Advisors.
“All of our sponsors have faith in our ability to grow this tournament and, not only raise donations, but also an awareness for the ongoing research associated with the causes," Herzfeld said.
