Can we just wait until after Thanksgiving before everything becomes Merry Christmas or Joyous Noel, etc.? Thanksgiving is the perfect time to remember and teach our children the reason for this holiday.
America’s first people, the only ones with the right to call themselves Native Americans, saved America's first refugees from starvation. Coming in peace, they provided food and clothing to a group of immigrants facing certain starvation during the winter ahead. We all know what these refugees did to the first people in exchange for their generosity.
