Silver Creek Retirement is working with S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue to hold a special event Thursday, July 26 that will allow guests to bring a pet, snuggle a pet or even adopt one.
The “Yappy Hour” adoption event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at Silver Creek, which is located at 165 Silver Lane in St. Augustine. S.A.F.E. will bring animals to the retirement community and help facilitate the fostering and adopting of animals that need a loving home. Those in attendance can also enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages, as well as homemade treats for pets.
