St. Johns County Parks and Recreation will host the eighth annual Free Kids’ Fishing Clinic Saturday, March 17 in partnership with Ancient City Game Fish Association.
For children ages 12 and under, the event will be held at St. Augustine Marina at the foot of Vilano Beach Fishing Pier, which is located at 260 Vilano Road in St. Augustine. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. the day of the event, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 200 kids will receive a free fishing pole and goodie bag as well as lunch provided by McDonald’s. Fishing awards and a raffle will take place at 11:30 am.
