SJSO explains ‘red flag law’ at local Moms Demand Action meeting
Lt. Mike Strausbaugh of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO) attended a meeting of the St. Johns County chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America on Sept. 26 in Nocatee to explain Extreme Risk Protection Orders, commonly known as the “red flag law,” which was enacted soon after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
