The St. Augustine Easter Week Festival will host national recording artists Chad Warrix and David Tolliver in Halfway to Hazard as grand marshals of the annual St. Augustine Easter parade on Saturday, April 20.

Warrix and Tolliver are known for their hit song, “Daisy,” after a Nashville club career and attention from superstar Tim McGraw, who helped launch the duo’s big-name concert tour dates. Reaching the top of Billboard Magazine’s Hot Country Songs, the two artists have also implemented their position with philanthropic efforts. They have raised more than $1 million for music programs in their home state of Kentucky and more than $500,000 for hurricane relief efforts in Florida and Texas.

Beginning at 9 a.m., the St. Augustine Easter parade route starts at the Old Jail Museum and runs through the historic district in downtown St. Augustine. Family friendly and fun aspects of the parade include prizes awarded to parade participants. Categories for prizes are open, historic and Easter divisions.

The St. Augustine Easter Parade began with the organization of the nonprofit, St. Augustine Easter Week Festival. The parade is known as the Parada de los Caballos y Coches, Parade of Horses and Carriages and features St. Augustine’s Royal Family, the Easter Bunny, clowns, drill teams, community floats and marching bands. The St. Augustine Easter Week Festival culminates with the Parade, a tradition headed by Sandy Tilton, president of the St. Augustine Easter Week Festival.
