Angelwood, a local nonprofit that serves children, adults and families living with disabilities in Northeast Florida, recently received a check for more than $5,000 from Underwood Jewelers in Ponte Vedra Beach. The donation represented the proceeds from the trunk show featuring IPPOLITA jewelry that the store hosted this past spring.

“The partnership with Underwood’s has been an amazing blessing to the people Angelwood serves,” Angelwood Executive Director Diane Tuttle said. “Over the years, they have helped us purchase a vehicle and secure needed supplies. … These things can really make a difference.”

In presenting the gift, Underwood’s General Manager John Rutkowski remarked that he loves helping Angelwood and especially visiting with representatives from the organization.

Underwood’s also intends to support Angelwood further by raffling off a donated IPPOLITA pendant necklace at the nonprofit’s Color Our World Gala, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 18 at the Sawgrass Marriott. Raffle tickets can either be purchased at the gala or in-store at Underwood’s. The winner will be drawn at the event.
