Valente joins Bachara Construction Law Group as partner

The Bachara Construction Law Group team in Jacksonville recently added Tracy Valente as a new partner at the firm.

Valente (formerly Tracy Wenzel) is a seasoned attorney with extensive knowledge of construction law and more than 20 years of experience as a litigator.  AV Preeminent-rated by Martindale Hubbell and a member of the Construction Law Section of The Florida Bar, she was formerly a partner and shareholder of Heekin Litigation Group in Jacksonville. 

Valente has represented homeowners, developers, general contractors and design professionals in a variety of construction and insurance-related matters. She has also represented subcontractors including, but not limited to, the following trades: HVAC, plumbing, swimming pool, framing, windows, roof drywall, painters and concrete.

An honors graduate of both Florida State University and the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, Valente has received a variety of peer-reviewed honors including listings in the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers, the Worldwide Registry of Executives & Professionals and Florida Trend Magazine’s “Florida Legal Elite.”

She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, The Florida Bar’s Construction Law Section, the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) and the Professional Women in Building Council, of which she has served as a director since 2017.
