The St. Johns County Council on Aging is looking for volunteers to help with a number of activities.
Volunteers are needed at The River House (179 Marine St. in St. Augustine) in the kitchen. Volunteers are also needed in St. Augustine to help in the native plant garden. In addition, the Sunshine Center Adult Day Care needs volunteers to help with activities such as art, music, games and exercise from Monday to Thursday.
THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center needs volunteers from 1 to 4 p.m. to help with front desk reception duties, setting up games, encouraging participation in activities and light cleanup. Additionally, the Ponte Vedra Memory Care Center is looking for volunteers to help with receptionist duties as part of the Integrative Memory Enhancement Program, from Monday to Thursday. Duties include answering phones, greeting visitors and providing referral services.
