Art auction benefits Cuban children suffering with cancer

The second Art & Love In Action Auction to support kids with cancer in Cuba will take place at Design 100, 4905 Belfort Road, Suite 100, Jacksonville, on Sept. 12.

The event will feature silent and live auctions of original Cuban art and a guest appearance by Carmen Vallejo from Havana who will speak about her work with kids with cancer across the island of Cuba for more than 35 years. Complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar provided.

Cuba is currently enduring its harshest economic crisis to date and there are extreme shortages of food and medicine. Support the Cuban People is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization based in Northeast Florida committed to providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable youth and the elderly residing in Cuba. This is the second Art & Love In Action auction organized in Jacksonville to provide much needed aid to kids battling cancer in Cuba. The first auction took place in 2020 at the Haskell Building in Riverside.
