Heather Clair MD joins Flagler Health+ Primary Care

Heather Clair MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, has joined Flagler Health+’s network of primary care providers. Clair is now scheduling appointments for new patients at the Flagler Health+ Primary Care office at Julington Creek, 2570 Race Track Road, Suite A, St. Johns.

Providing versatile care for patients from newborn to geriatric, Clair joins Flagler Health+ and is practicing alongside Tristan Imhoff MD at the Julington Creek office, which opened in early 2022.

Clair received her doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and her Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular genetics from the University of Louisville. She completed her residency at the Orange Park Medical Center Family Medicine Residency in Orange Park.

She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in agriculture from the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Science.

Smyth named director, donor services at The Community Foundation

The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida has promoted Kacie Smyth to director, donor services.

Smyth joined the foundation in June 2021 as it’s first-ever director of the Women’s Giving Alliance (WGA), an initiative of the foundation. In her WGA role, Smyth partnered with the member-elected volunteer leadership and managed all operational aspects of the 400-plus member organization, including membership, communications and grantmaking.

In her new role, Smyth will manage donor services, including donor relationships and customer service initiatives. She will work with the vice president, donor services to implement the strategic direction for donor education, stewardship, asset development and philanthropic leadership initiatives.

Prior to joining the foundation, Smyth was the assistant director, philanthropy for Nemours Children’s Health. She currently serves on the board of the First Coast Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and is the 2022 chair of National Philanthropy Day.

She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in health administration from the University of North Florida.

Smyth and her husband Travis live in Ponte Vedra Beach.
