A job fair at bestbet St. Augustine on Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30, is looking to fill more than 100 positions for the soon-to-be-opened cardroom facility.
The hiring event is taking place on both days at bestbet St. Augustine at 800 Marketplace Drive, St. Augustine, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The job fair is open to all job seekers 18 years or older. Applicants will be able to interview onsite and speak with representatives from bestbet to gain a better understanding of the various open positions and employee benefits.
Open positions presently include poker room staff, cage tellers, mutuel tellers, servers, cooks, landscapers, parking lot monitors, surveillance, greeters, porters, sushi chefs, security and more.
bestbet St. Augustine will be opening late this summer and will include 49 gaming tables, a state-of-the-art sports bar, more than 80 flat screen TVs, a spacious simulcast area, sushi bar and more. The new cardroom will feature poker games of all limits and easy-to-play card games like One Card Poker, Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em. The simulcast area will feature world-class live thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country along with out-of-state greyhound racing and Jai Alai.
