Easter egg hunt raises $3,200

Posted

Adventure Landing hosted its 26th annual Easter Egg Hunts and Charity Raffles on April 16. This year, they raised $3,200 through community donations, which went directly to the American Red Cross Volunteer Lifesaving Corps for the ninth consecutive year.

The charity was chosen because of its commitment to families and children. For 105 years, the men and women of the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps have stood watch over Jacksonville’s beaches to protect the lives of residents and visitors who come throughout the year to enjoy the local pristine shores and abundant sunshine.
