The “Night with Nemours Taste of France” gala shined at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club on May 10. This was the first Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville, gala since 2019 and the sold-out crowd of more than 400 people were ready for an amazing night.

The gala featured French-inspired food, wine and décor. Proceeds from the gala support the Nemours Children's Compassionate Care Fund, which helps provide world-class care wherever the need is greatest.

Nemours Children’s hematologist/oncologist Dr. Michael Joyce and retired Nemours hematologist/oncologist Dr. Cynthia Gauger were honored for their decades of dedicated service and care for Nemours patients and families.

Aubrey Edge, president and CEO of First Coast Energy and president of the Daily’s Foundation, was honored for his contributions to Nemours and the Jacksonville community.

During dinner, guests enjoyed music from the Jacksonville-based Bold City Classics, and a mind-bending performance from mentalist and magician Oz Pearlman. The French-inspired dinner was followed up with a dessert reception.
