The Jacksonville Symphony Chorus is holding auditions on Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts. As a treasured community asset for more than 30 years, the Symphony Chorus provides vocals for various symphonic performances throughout the season.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming more talented individuals to our ranks,” said Jill Weisblatt, chorus manager. “The Symphony Chorus is such an integral part of the performances in Jacoby Symphony Hall and helps add a deeper sense of depth, meaning and emotional dimension to the overall experience of our concerts.”
Auditions on Sept. 9 will begin at 9 a.m. and are by appointment only. Interested individuals must complete the audition form at jaxsymphony.org/symphony-chorus-membership and email it to Jill Weisblatt at jweisblatt@jaxsymphony.org.
