K9s For Warriors receives MarCom Awards in 4 categories

K9s For Warriors was recently recognized for excellence in marketing and communications with four MarCom Awards in categories including print and digital media.

The MarCom Awards, an international competition, is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious creative competitions in the world, drawing entries this year from 6,500 professionals in communications, marketing, design and production.

According to a MarCom news release, “Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.”

K9s For Warriors received the following awards:

Platinum Award — UNLEASH: A Capital Campaign (Print Media-Brochure-Nonprofit)

Gold Award — RED Friday T-Shirt, (Print Media-Design-T-Shirt)

Honorable Mention — Puppy Raiser’s Reference Manual (Print Media-Employee Publication-Manual Training)

Honorable Mention — Shed Your Birthday Light on the Darkness of Suicide (Digital Media-Web Element-Blog Single Post)

“K9s For Warriors strives to bring valuable content to the public through our print and digital media to convey our mission of rescuing dogs and training them to be life-saving service dogs for disabled American veterans,” K9s For Warriors Chief Marketing Officer Tahoma Guiry said. “We are honored to receive these awards and recognition amongst such an impressive group of design and communications industry professionals.”

K9s For Warriors, a Ponte Vedra Beach-based nonprofit, is the nation’s largest provider of service dogs to military veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Military Sexual Trauma as a result of military service post-9/11.
