The St. Augustine Amphitheatre will host multi-platinum indie folk singer/songwriter Vance Joy May 8 at 7 p.m., doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Joy cut his teeth performing at open mic nights in Melbourne. His music captures the pulse of everyday experiences in a celebratory manner. Joy announced that he would be going on a tour, entitled “Nation of Two World Tour,” to his fans via a global Facebook livestream. Additionally, the multi-platform artist surprised fans with another new song and visual, "Call If You Need Me," from his sophomore album Nation of Two.

Joy's "Nation of Two World Tour" will feature a North American leg April 13 in Berkeley, California at the Greek Theatre before a stopover at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on May 8.

“Call If You Need Me,” the fifth and final track unveiled before the Nation of Two album release, features trademark visual lyrics, painting pictures of fluorescent lights and conversations through foggy shower glass. The Nation of Two campaign launched with a massive alternative hit single, “Lay It on Me,” and was followed by “Like Gold,” “We’re Going Home,” and “Saturday Sun.” A promising fan-favorite, the bright and uplifting “Saturday Sun” has been streamed over one million times in its first five days of release, and is currently featured on alternative radio stations nationwide.

Nation of Two is the follow-up to Joy’s critically-acclaimed debut album Dream Your Life away, which recently surpassed one million in consumption in the U.S. alone. The album spawned the hit, "Riptide," and RIAA platinum-certified "Mess Is Mine." Dream Your Life Away also featured “Fire and the Flood” and “Georgia."
