Palm Valley Rotarians recently presented SAFE (Saving Animals from Euthanasia) with a generous donation made possible by their recent Caring for Kids Raffle Fundraiser. SAFE was founded in 2008 with the goal of rescuing animals from kill shelters where they are facing euthanasia. To date, SAFE, which operates entirely on donations and volunteer efforts, has rescued more than 28,000 animals. Among the other charities supported by the Palm Valley Rotary Club are Peace of Heart and Blessings in a Backpack, as well as many others.
