Murle Harold Wester, long-time resident of Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra, Florida, passed away on November 5, 2022 at the age of 89.

The Jay Fund hosted a holiday party on Dec. 10 for oncology patients of all ages and their immediate families. Guests reunited with old friends and celebrated the season. There were also special visits from Santa Claus and his elf and mermaid friends. The Jay Fund is a local nonprofit that provides financial, emotional and practical support for families tackling childhood cancer.
