The event featured interactive “animal encounter” performances. Join county naturalists for a guided trip of the intracoastal waterway and enjoy sunset on the water with a Nocatee sunset kayak trips. The tours will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each evening from Aug. 13 through Aug. 16. The starting point will be at the Nocatee Paddle Launch, 2015 Nocatee Landing Trail. Cost is as follows: SJC resident providing own boat – $20 per person; non-resident providing own boat – $30 per person; SJC resident using a county boat – $40 per person; Non-resident using a county boat – $50 per person. Pre-registration is required for a trip but does not guarantee a spot. Space on a trip is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
